Special...Special...Try a new pizza

Hello and welcome to our blog.  B and I have a passion for food.  We enjoy trying new foods and exploring local restaurants.  So if you've made it here then this is your lucky day.  Since this is our very first blog post, we will be reviewing one of favorite restaurants The Village Trattoria in South Orange, NJ.  

The Viallage Trattoria Buffalo Chicken

We frequent the Trattoria quite often on our lunch break and it is quite popular amongst the residents in the South Orange/Maplewood NJ area.   The Trattoria serves specialty pizzas at pretty reasonable prices.  We indulged in the scrumptious Buffalo Chicken Pizza which is probably hands down our favorite, although their are many specialty options to choose from.  The pizza was topped with blue cheese, a light buffalo sauce, and buffalo chicken.  The crust was slightly crispy and very diva-lick-cious!  The decor was simple and clean with high ceilings and a very casual city-like feel.

Juicy Grilled Chicken stripes,  Crunchy Red Onions and Green Peppers...all on one slice of pizza...make your mouth watery... The blend of veggies was just right and adding in the flavorful chicken strips was nothing but Tasteful, Filling, and JUST RIGHT for divas on the go or dining in! 

We give Trattoria the DD (Double D) stamp of approval.  Come during lunch hours and you may just catch us near the window chowing on BCP (Buffalo Chicken Pizza).
